Organized by the pediatric Osteopathic Science Group of the Orthopedic Branch of China Medical Care Promotion Association and related academic organizations in China for the treatment and rehabilitation of encephala paralysis,"The First Chinese International Symposium of Evaluation and Treatment for Cerebral Palsy in Children" was successfully concluded in Xiamen, China from June 22 to 25, 2017.Nearly 600 people attended the conference. More than 30 experts from all over the world, Hong Kong, Taiwan and the mainland conducted in-depth discussions on the topic of encephala paralysis.There was a crowd of talents at the meeting and without empty seats.

The executive chairman of this seminar was Professor Chen Bochang, Director of Pediatric Orthopedics, Shanghai Sixth People's Hospital Affiliated to Shanghai JiaoTong University. The seminar invited many well-known experts in the four major fields of pediatric orthopedics, neurosurgery, rehabilitation medicine, and rehabilitation engineering at home and abroad to give special academic reports.The seminar specially invited the domestic and international top experts in the field of cerebral palsy in children,including the leader of Chinese children's rehabilitation Professor Li Xiaojie,  famous experts in Chinese pediatric orthopedics Professor Guo Yuan and Professor Yang Jianping,international senior pediatric neuromuscular disease expert Professor Michael D Sussman, orthopedic expert Professor Freeman Miller and Professor Tom Novacheck,pediatric orthopedics expert Professor Guo Gengnan, pediatric neurologist Professor Antigone S. Papavasiliou, expert in prosthetics and orthotics Prof. Thomas V. DiBello and senior physical therapist Prof. Elaine Owen to give academic lectures.

The topic of this seminar covers domestic and international new concepts, new knowledge, and new technologies related to the diagnosis and treatment, rehabilitation and rehabilitation medical engineering of cerebral palsy, providing comprehensive and up-to-date concepts and methods for the epidemiology, diagnosis and evaluation, treatment and rehabilitation, surgical selection, and social support of encephala paralysis.It provides a high-level exchange and cooperation platform for all professionals engaged in encephala paralysis to jointly promote the development and progress of the treatment of encephala paralysis, so that more children with cerebral palsy can receive timely, reasonable and effective medical care.
