Double Medical is organizing a Surgical Approach Cadaver Workshop in Croatia dated 12-14th May, 2022. This course is basic for young traumatology specialists with theoretical knowledgement.
This course – Surgical Approaches in Orthopedics and Traumatology – is designed for all surgeons who treat orthopedic or trauma patients. The course is hands on with more than 80% of the time devoted to performing surgical approaches. The surgical dissections are carried out on fresh cadaveric specimens and following each approach the dissections are enlarged to give the course participants the opportunity to explore the anatomy that surgeons never see whilst performing surgery. By the end of the course participants will appreciate the topographical anatomy relevant to the approach and be aware of all the potential dangers. The course is designed for surgeons of most degrees of experience but is not suitable for first and second year residents.
