The MEI-FOA Patellofemoral Joint System is designed for the treatment of isolated patellofemoral joint disorders where conservative treatment has failed, providing a targeted solution for patients with anterior knee pain.
The system focuses on restoring natural patellofemoral joint function through an anatomically driven design. With an optimized Q-angle concept and gender-specific considerations, it accommodates a wide range of anatomical variations across patients.
By preserving the unaffected tibiofemoral compartments, the system offers a bone-preserving and function-oriented alternative to total knee arthroplasty.
Manufactured from CoCrMo alloy, the system provides multiple size options for both patellofemoral components and patella components, with left and right configurations. It can also be combined with unicondylar knee systems for enhanced surgical flexibility.
